A couple of weeks ago, I inquired about Mt. Carmel,Il geneology. Someone graciously offered to do some research for me in the library there. I have lost your contact address, but I would be so appreciative if you would contact me again. If anyone is from Mt. Carmel or knows someone there, please let me know. Thank you. Sherry McDonald

Sherry, I live 35 miles away and would be willing to do some research. If you have addresses, church, or cemetary names, I would be more than willing to take some photos for you as well.

I would also be willing to take pictures of houses as well. If they are obviously new, I won't bother. I am in a group that is sponsoring a quilt retreat Aug 6 & 7. Could be a great time for you to come and visit!

Pam! You are wonderful!!!I am looking for my father's family.

Robert Metzger, my father died in 1940 ,when I was a few months old. My son and I are looking for Roy Metzger(grandfather) born Aug. 1891-1960. His wife Louvina Sept 1897-1993.We think they are buried in the Highland Cemetary. We are also interested in Elizabeth b.1923 and May Louise b1929.
as often happens in these cases, I was never told of this information, and now we are trying to put things together. thank you so so much. Sherry McD

Could you PM me those things, so I don't loose them? Also, if you have an address for the house, or church they might have gone to, I will get those as well.

I can do that.. we might want to try and hit city hall, if it is old enough and not to much we can get photo copies of birth and marriage certs for her. I wouldn't mind.
