My 1st crayon painting

Look what I learned tonight at a meeting. I used crayons. My DGD likes bugs and frogs, so I turned it into a pillow for her. She loves it!

That is really cute - is it done with fabric medium over the crayons like you do with colored pencils?

No, I just colored a piece of muslin with crayola crayons, put paper on my ironing board, laid the colored piece face down and ironed. That's it.

A lady in my circle taught it to us tonight at a meeting. She said it won't wash out unless you wash it 100 times. :lol:

Wonderful!!! I'm going to try it right away. I love coloring and now I know I can do it on fabric. I'm stuck in the not quilting mode right now so this might give me the incentive I need. Thanks for sharing. :)
