they are now drying out...will have to get my 3 year old grandson , jack over to release them. he release 2 last year too!

Last years release,jack was 2!

Have you heard of Birds and Bloooms Magazine? they have a web site where you can submit photographs to be put in their magazine.

They love pictures like this with kids with nature. maybe you can try to send these in!

yes, i am raising them..they get swiped out of the milkweeds plants when they are caterpillars by birds i suppose. i try to catch them when they are tiny, tiny eggs..they put them in a cage and make sure they get fed everyday.

My friend in the next city over, has set 200 free this year! that is where the picture of jack was taken last year..in her yard. she also puts these stickers on thier wings, so when they are found..hopefully they will be listed on a log, as to where they were..where they came from etc...
i just wanted to do something else with the grandson ,besides dig for worms, or catching bees and different critters. i bought him a hugh magnifying glass and tweezer..so we can explore the backyard!
