Default My DH earned points today!

My DH asked me if I wanted a new sewing table that was larger than the one I have. I said sure (of course).
When he asked me to help him take it out of the truck I was a little nervous - He's been know to get some rather peculiar items at rummage sales. It turns out he found a 4 x 8 solid pine table at Barnes and Noble that they were going to toss out and they said he could have it - free! It is very large, very heavy, and very solid. I'm lucky my quilting room is in the basement or I wouldn't have been able to fit it anywhere else. He sure earned some points that day!

Aren't thoughtful husbands just great! Mine has twice come home from auctions with older Singers in cabinets that he got FREE when the auctioneer couldn't get a bid. One is a 99 and one a 15 I think. Both are in cabinets with little or no wear or scratches. Can't remember right now which is which but one is the 3/4 size and they both sew terrific straight stitches. Love that thoughtful husband!

Good for you. My Husband doesn't do any of that. He knows if I need or want something I would get it. I like to pick out my own stuff.

When the B & N near us closed, we bought two of those tables. One has an embroidery machine and laptop, the other holds my other embroidery machine and serger. No fear of those tables bouncing when I embroider or sew.
