just a little background. We lost our 16 yr old dog a couple of days before Christmas. Just DH & me alone in our house, kids all live far away.
I've been putting word out to neighbors, acquaintences etc, that we were looking for a dog. The shelters all want $200 & up, just to much money for something with 4 legs. Well one of our neighbors knew someone getting rid of a dog due to allergies of baby. She told everyone it would be our dog. Her previous owner delivered her fFriday afternoon to us. She came with more stuff then a 5 year takes on an over night sleepover. Mimi is a 4 yr old minature poodle, sweet personality, quiet, likes to play and go for walks. She is white. The first night she slept in her bed, but last night discovered our bed. She is a cuddly lap dog. She acts like we have been her family forever. She seems very smart. She is not a yipper, so far. We have never had a poodle much less one this small, but she is fun and cute.

#2 good thing. I worked a few extra hours last week because of Mothers Day. I told myDH that extra money would be for my FW. I figured it would take a while to find one in my price range. went on ebay last night and bought one 1947 or 48 I think for a little less the $200.00. No one was bidding. I am very excited. It will take a week or 10 days to arrive, I can hardly wait. I hope it is as good one. It is in a case, has book and attachments. Wow! WOW.
