My early Valentine present is my avatar (hopefully I did this right !LOL)
Found her on Monday, but decided I wasn't ready to adopt her yet. We needed to mend the fence that DH's brother's dogs tore down and made holes not to mention the frozen potty problem !LOL So I had said no, we just weren't ready. WELLLLLLLLLL DH had other ideas!LOL He went back to the rescue to ask if he could keep her there until Thursday, and then today he went and adopted her. I came home from the first part of my split shift and there she was ! Brie almost jumped into my arms, but I had a coat and my purse.. so she waited patiently for me to put my stuff down then was all over me!!

Oh I geuss I need to mention DH's brother and his wife and dogs (large Labrador & a shepard mix) lived with us for over 2 LONG months. The dogs were umm shall we say a bit unruly !!LOL Needless to say we have some clean up work to do and some mending of fences before my lovely Brie will be alone in the yard..LOL
Our grands cannot wait to meet her..they live in UT so I guess I will take a trip out there for them to meet her

She looks a lot like our oldest rescue dog, only Penny does not have the white. What a luck dog. Enjoy her as she now can enjoy life:)
