I've been so envious of everyone's "finds" when they hit a second hand store or Goodwill. Traveling over the Holidays, I found some wonderful "finds" myself and am so thrilled!!! An unfinished quilted fan design ($14), an old crochet bedspread ($58) and a vintage needlepoint footstool ($40). I think I got a deal on each item....sorry but I can't post photos as none of the boxes they were mailed in has been delivered yet. I figured they were great finds as I would never make these things myself and so decided that they were real bargains for the time consuming work involved. I am so happy to join the club of "great finds" people!!! LOL

Thank you very much. If I hadn't joined the QB and read about other people's finds, I never would have given it a second thought to search for these special things. I normally would have passed them up even though I make a special trip to these second hand shops or go antiquing.

Thank you all, and you're right....I can't wait for the boxes to arrive!!! And, Dawn Hendrix....my avatar.....the photo is my orchid in full bloom. That one is particularly pretty with it's super dark color. I try to capture photos of our flowers here and have the photos processed so I can turn them into notecards for gifts. Mainland relatives and friends love them.
