Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. My little girls (also rescues) died in 2011 both were 16 years old and just about 8 pounds each. They HATED the snow!

Sharon,
Oh that breaks my heart to hear that you lost both rescue babies in the same year - I am so sorry for you. We only ever had one other dog besides my two current ones and when she died many years ago it actually took us 20 years to get another dog because I didn't think I could bear the heartache of losing another one. My husband says that is part of the deal though because they will not last as long as we do so we will just have to cherish the time we have them. I hate the thought of knowing that someday I will have to face that again. I have to think that the joy of my two babies is what I need to concentrate on. More like live and enjoy today, every minute of each day.

You have a great day my dear.

Charlotte
