My first thought, as others have stated, was, "When's the quilting retreat?" Couldn't you see us all sitting on the different levels with our quilts stretched out over our legs, and every hour you'd give us a happy shout to change places so we could espy a different view? We'd all bring some food and you wouldn't have to cook for two weeks because we brought so much. When we pack up to leave (if ever) we would sweep those rambling verandas and vacuum your house, do the laundry, cut the grass, weed the gardens, and water the flowers so you'd invite us back again next year!

Enjoy your life there! You must have joy and peace in your heart! And a son that treats his mamma well!

Paid for! Awesome!!! The house is breathtaking! My butt would be on a glider on the top porch! Cool drink and a good book would top it off! I would never get any sewing done tho!
congrats! You are an inspiration in "can do" attitude!

This is lovely. We also live in a log home and have been here for close to 20 years (hubby built it) and my only complaint is the spider webs that gather everywhere on the exterior and are a son-of-a-gun to get off. Mine would probably fit in 1/4 of yours though ..................... ;o)

WOW! Your story shows what a good heart you have. To have a son to do that for you and have your parents live there too, awesome! Oh, love your home too!
