Thread: My Husband's Ford

This is my Husband's new truck, it had no carpeting to speak of when we bought it. So for the past week and a half I installed it.

too bad you're so far away. i could use someone to lay carpet in my finished basement! bring your assistants. i supply lunch.

1953 Ford F-100 4x4,it sits on a 1979 Bronco chassis.

did you use an adhesive? what kind?

I used adhesive only between the carpet and the insulation. On the passenger side just under your feet is the battery compartment. So to have access to it I couldn't glue it down. I did cut a 12" slice in the carpet in front of the passenger seat to access the opening and put velcro to close it.
We used 3M spray adhesive from Wal Mart.
