She's beautiful! Looks like her hair is pretty long. Prepare yourself to do LOTS of vacuuming to get that black hair off your white carpet! Time to introduce her to your sewing room--after all, she has a new job to learn as a quilt inspector, and the sooner she gets started, the better. I think Stash is an adorable name!

She's already inspected the sewing room. She was laying half under a quilt in the hoop frame and the bag of poly-fill for stuffing things seemed to fascinate her. There is a small hole in the bag and she was sticking her nose in and sniffing long and hard, over and over, like it was manna from heaven.

Come to think of it... maaaayyyybbbbeee I should take a look and see if there is anything in the bag of stuffing that shouldn't be there, something that would have made that hole maybe???

she will love you like crazy, thinking you're her mother. that's what happens when they get taken from their real mothers too soon. they bond with whoever they grow up with. you needed another child anyway, right? that child is the one you needed :)

I dithered for half a year about getting a cat or a dog, it was decided for me.

I was sewing this morning while all was quiet and I noticed a tail and leg underneath the back of a quilt in the hoop. I didn't know she was in there with me and she slept there all the time I was sewing.

She is adorable and I love the name Stash. She certainly has good taste in authors.
