I cannot open the attachment either. I have my dolls from the 40's and 50's. Mine are in display boxes. Two are Horseman dolls. Neither has real hair, but the molded type. They have their original clothes. I really enjoy having them. I have a granddaughter and a great granddaughter to give them -later!

I can't open the attachments either and really would like to see your dolls as I, too, have been working with those that I have. Thanks for the tips on hair.

I had a Tiny Tears baby and really liked it. My mother ordered twin babies from Sears one year for Christmas. She had clothes made for them but I hated them because they had these ugly crying faces and the bodies were made of cloth but the head and arms and legs were plastic. They were suppose to be like real babies. I don't think I ever played with them much. I think I was rather ugly about it. My mother went to a lot of trouble to get outfits made. Oh well, they were really ugly.

My grandma use to crochet the clothes for the 9" dolls I have found a few of hers in a box that I think I will try to clean them up & put them on display. She had a glass enclosed case that she fill with dolls. The dolls are falling apart because the head & arms are attached with a rubber band. So I have to figure out how to do that.

Apparently I posted this thread twice and the administration deleted the one with the photos.

Here are the before and after.
