I'm so excited today, ladies. In a somewhat random, spur of the moment decision, my DH got me a kitty! We have been wanting one for a very long time and things have just not managed to come together. But I found a kitten on the freecycle list who was going to the pound today if someone didn't take her.

And so here's my new buddy!

She was a little skittish at first, but has warmed up to us very nicely. I'm unemployed right now so I have a lot of time by myself at the house and I'm very excited to have another living creature at home with me during the day! ;)

We're still trying to think of a good name for her - any suggestions?

Very cute! I miss having a cat in the house, but the neighborhood kitties come and see me so they can drink out of my small fishpond. Have fun with your new baby.
