TURTLES!!! My mom's got a pair of turtles (Spanky and Sparky). Spanky was purchased several years ago at the Daytona Beach Flea Market when she was about the size of a fifty-cent piece. She's as big as a saucer now. :) I don't remember where Sparky came from... she may have been adopted from someone? Anyway, I love those silly little creatures. Have fun with your new friends!

They're box turtles, regular & fancy and their shells are about 5-1/2" long. Gertie will come when I wave the dinner plate so I guess you could say they respond to us LOL! They're very curious and friendly. And fortunately they usually take care of business while eating or bathing, making poop patrol minimal.
