I live in SW Missouri. Yesterday morning we had rain - not snow or ice, just cold rain. When I went out to my car at lunch, it was horribly spotted with mud drops. Couldn't even see out the windows. Every car I saw at lunch looked the same. Turns out there was a dust cloud moved our way from Texas and it came down through the rain. Now I'm looking out my dining room window and realize the mud drops are not only on my car, but my house windows also. It's messy, but still better than snow and ice!! Guess the car washes will be super busy today.

The weather guy said that there was a dust storm in the Texas panhandle, it got caught up in the rain clouds and the rain cleansed the clouds and air and that is how we ended up with muddy rain.

We had some torrential rain the other day & it actually washed my back windows & they looked better after the storm.

You should have been in the middle of it in Texas. Lubbock was a mess all day Sunday. So much sand in the air it was hard to see to drive. A very monochromatic day...brown sky, brown trees, brown grass. Glad it passed on thru, but sorry it dumped mud on y'all.

Dirty care here too in Lebanon, MO - where are you? DH was off yesterday and we ate lunch in town and had to wait in line for the carwash! The weatherman on TV actually showed the dustcloud on the radar that was in Texas and coming this way!
