If you plan to sell these garmens whhen they are outgrown, I would go for the sew on labbels, so they could be removed.

If you wanted to, you could put two labels on each garment. One in a conspicuous place like a neckband, and the other in a less likelyy placee like on a hem or inside a pocket.

If I was buying a used garmentt, I would like to be able to remove or cover the previous owners name.

If anything my idea not the best, but label the ribbing, as child grows it wear out, or another child can have it altered or removed if that is the case.

If it were my job and I wanted to resell an article of clothing I would sew the label to the inside bottom of the shirt on the button side, or in the seam on the side. Neck labels even annoy some adults!

I suggest buying extra wide quilting binding and writing on it with the Pigma. Then you can sew it to an inside side seam. Sew all labels in the same place so the child knows exactly where to look for his items.
