Neat Desk has an ad on TV for their product which has you scan your receipts, bills, documents etc. so that you have a searchable system to organize the paperwork. It sounds great, but... Have any of you used this? If so what is your opinion of the whole thing?

I have seen the ad and considered buying it...I feel like I'm drowning in paper sometime. Just not sure it actually works as simply as they show, like automatically going to file you want each one to go to. Otherwise, a program like Quicken would do to enter receipts, expenses. Plus, "some" original documents have to be kept for taxes and warranty purposes, etc.

I have a pretty good system of filing paperwork and can find things quickly. DH mentioned this program to me the other day, but as was mentioned, some documents need to be kept anyway, and I think the process of scanning everything would take much too long. That's what I decided!
