Hey Y'all,
I was selected to come up with games for our Christmas Party for our Red Hat Group - Quilting Strippers and Rippers!
I have done my LQS Christmas parties so I need some new ideas. Throw anything at me you got! We are a bunch of
"Krazy Ladies" who like to have fun.
Share any ideas for creative fun gift ideas too please!

1. We play "strip bingo" and I made the bingo cards from this site: http://print-bingo.com/
I used words around the shop for the bingo words instead of using numbers like regular bingo. To be in the game you have to "ante" up a 2 1/2" WOF strip of fabric. Winner of each game gets all the strips in the ante.
2. Write the name of your group down the side of a piece of lined paper...One letter per line. Using the letter on the line as the first letter of a word, they have to create a story within a time limit (5 minutes) Have each one read the story and the group decides the winner (or the one that used the most lines correctly).
3. If you are an adventurous group...make a poster of a "red hat crazy lady" without her hat. Then have everyone "make" her a new hat out of crafty items on the table. However...the winner will be the one that can place her hat on her blindfolded (pin the tail on the donkey).
Creative gifts --
Embroidery on paper note cards
Big Box of crayons with a roll of waxed paper for a
new technique (coloring on fabric then heat setting
it with iron)
Big prize of a "fat quarter" cake made like a
"diaper" cake.

I can't remember the name of one of my favorites. Everyone brings a wrapped gift within a certain price limit. It can be nice or a white elephant. Participants draw numbers. All 'gifts' are in a central location. #s are called in order. #1 chooses a gift, #2 can choose a wrapped gift or #1's. If #1 loses her gift, she chooses another. #3 chooses one from the table, #1s or #2s. It gets very interesting if there are a few desirable gifts. It works best with players in a circle so visibility isn't a problem.

I like the bingo with the fabric strips idea! One game we used to play at the kids parties was everyone got a sticker on their back with someone else's name. they went around and were allowed to ask each other person one question about themselves. sounds easy for adults but if you limited the questions to quilting related things, it would be interesting!
