Does anyone know where I can find unbreakable ornaments? I have 3 kittens 7 & 8 months old that I don't want to tear up my handmade ornaments. I need ones that the cats won't ruin.

Don't know where to start looking.

Thanks!

I know Dollar general has them and K mart usually does too. I have some antique ones that are metal that I always used on the bottom of the tree when the kids were little.

There are unbreakable bulbs at any big box store (WM, Target, etc.), if that is what you are looking for.

If you have a Big Lots, that's where we got ours last year.
They are the plastic balls, but look like the real thing. ;)

My friend puts her tree inside a playpen/fence to keep her kitties out of it.

Dawn, try wooden ones, plastic or fabric ones. Walmart, Kmart, Joanne's, Big Lots all have non breakable ones! Good Luck!!
Anything special that you are looking for? A theme? or just non breakable ones?? Silly kitties, they are as bad as toddlers!! ;)

With many kids, dogs and kitties and now Grandbaby around through the years, here's what I have done:
First, I have been known to get a shorter tree and put it up on a short dresser or cabinet. Then, soft and unbreakable ornaments are tied on to the bottom branches with yarn so that if they DO come off, they won't have metal hookies on them. We'll be there again this year with 8 month-old Little Miss Busy pulling up on furniture and chewing on everything in sight!
