Default Need inspiration or ideas for a necklace project

I tried to post this a few days ago, but now I have pictures!

My son slipped these "beads" to me and asked me to make them into a necklace for his wife for Christmas. Apparently they were a necklace, which broke. I cannot imagine these even being in the same piece, but... The milky blue is about half an inch overall, and so is the one that looks like mother of pearl, both in what looks like antique sterling settings.

I found the freshwater pearls, which have the same tones but holes only large enough for a single wire.

There are 7 of each kind of "jewel", and both of them have 2 holes for wire, tho tiny and close together. I understand it to be some sort of "vintage" style, but I can't see what to do with them. Any ideas will be appreciated!

I don't know what they have in mind but the beads look like they would work in a Steam Punk necklace. Google Steam punk necklaces and see if anything sparks an idea.

Also a reamer tool will make a larger bole in the pearls. Look up pigtailing, you can do that with thw pearlz.

Go to Etsy and search for handmade jewelry. You will get lots of design ideas there!

This was my third attempt. I sent the picture to my son and he replied that it looked awesome - that it had been a bracelet (explains a lot) but she wanted a necklace. A lady she worked for for many, many years died last night, and so this is a timely "feel good". I do still have to invent some earrings, but hopefully I will figure out how to get them to "droop" right. Thanks for your inputs.

These are called sliders, and they make great components for bracelets! Doending on the size of the holes, you may be able to get some jewekry wire between them...two different strands running through each set of holes. If I were with you, I could show you how. Maybe check on youtube on how to use jewelry wire?
