My oldest DD has a cat that jumps in the shower with her when she is showering....scared the dickens out of her the first time it happened. She tries to keep the door shut now. ;-)

My companion was not a cat but my 2 year old grandson. I was in the bathroom..with the door closed. He managed to open the door and rush in and hand me 1 piece of toilet paper. Then he stood there, clapping his hands and telling me "good boy". Several of the kids at day care were potty training and I guess he is the cheering section. It's good to know Grandma is a good boy.

My dog thinks when I am on the pot it is time for her to put her paws on my lap so I can scratch behind her ears. Think one of my kids gave her that idea?

My two try to urge me onwards to the bathroom, and both tails droop when I veer off to the front bedroom/sewing room. But should I go to the bathroom, Freddy the white Persian strolls in front of me with her tail held high, and I try to shut the door to keep Koko the half Siamese out, but usually manage to hit him on the rear as he hurtles in past me and leaps over Freddy. I give up and keep the door open, they are faster than I've ever been. Of course having a small container of kitty treats there for Frederica (she's a picky eater) only makes Koko eager to visit with me at awkward times.

We have to close the bathroom door if we don't want a 4-kitty audience! There have even been times that DH had his jeans down around his ankles, and one of the cats curled up inside them!

They sure don't like the door being closed, though. They all do different things to try to get in. Tikki tries to turn the doorknob (and he COULD, if he had thumbs!). Buddy (Siamese/Ragdoll) sits outside calling "momo momo momo". Baby Girl stands on her back feet and paws at the door with both front feet. And Wee-est digs at the crack under the door. How about a little privacy, guys? I'll be out when I'm done. I don't bother y'all when you're in the litter box, do I???

Silly kitties.
