I'm looking for a pattern for a bag (purse, pocketbook, or tote) that zips across the top and closes completely. I've seen the type of pattern where it is open on the short ends; that's not what I'm looking for.

Does anyone have a recommendation?

Thanks,

Lynda

I've seen people put zippers in the bow tucks... I wish I could figure out how to!

If you are willing to buy a pattern, I made Margo by Lazy Girl. I love it.

There's a bag pattern on Connecting Threads. Zipper is in top of bag. Kit comes in two color choices.

Thanks, everyone! I'm checking them all out. I have no problem buying a pattern or even a book on various zipper techniques. I just haven't been able to find one that secures the zipper on the sides as well as the top and bottom.

Thanks again!

Lynda
