Needle under fingernail

Hope you've had your tetanus shots if you live in a rural area. It is puncture wounds like that which can be risky. Hope you recover well.

I concur with the others. If you havent had a recent tetnaus shot you should get one. Also soaking it in hot water may help with the pain initially then you can try ice water. Sorry this happened to you. Hope it heals soon.

Got the ok from Dr. today said my finger looks good, I have been using triple antibotic under my nail. It doesn't hurt much anymore.He said to keep my eye on it. Thanks everyone for your concerns.

Ouch! Be sure to soak in epsom salts to take some of the soreness out. You may have to do this for awhile.
