I have been trying to get my fabrics in some kind of order since this morning. I still have a long way to go. My oldest daughter just walked in here, looked around and said "whoa that's a big mess". I said give me some time I am trying to get it all orgaganized. Then she said "well maybe you should just buy fabric to make 1 blanket at a time." I can't believe that came out of her mouth, what is wrong with that girl LOL.

Hold on and pray....she'll grow out of it. I had to wait till my daughter turned 35 before she saw the light and straightened up!!!

How's that quote go?? "One-who-quilts buys fabric with a specific pattern in mind, but those who just buy fabric to use at some time are quilters."

I can't remember it exactly... but she can't help it if she's not old enough to be a quilter yet. Be sure to remind her how lucky she is to have a quilter for a mother!!

I have to say, quilters are much funnier than horse people. :D

So what does that make a gal who is a quilter AND a horse person? Eh?

Sounds like your daughter needs intensive training on the concept of stash, IJM! :D
