Dear all,

well, I did my final craft show of the year. Guess how much money I made?????

Drum roll, please....

$11.

yes, that's right. it's not a typo. $11.

The booth cost me $25. So I'm out $14. At least it was at a church, so I hope it went to a good cause.

My Mom is trying to talk me into a few bigger shows next year instead of the church bazaar type craft shows. I don't know if I want to spend the money, though. Booths at the bigger festivals can cost several hundred dollars. I would almost rather give the baby items to the local crisis pregnancy center and the Liberty Godparent Home (here in Lynchburg) or project Linus and take the tax write off.

ugh.

thanks for letting me vent!!!

$11.00 seems to be the magic number. Last year I did a church craft show and also made $11. This year I didn't bother.

Sorry it went so lousy, but you have named some great causes that you can give to.

I think people are just not spending money for things they don't have to have. Maybe there is a lesson to be learned. Like find another outlet.

That is a disapointment. Wonder if someone else could go in with you and split the cost of the booth.

If you donate them to those wonderful causes you listed, you can take it as a tax deduction and I am sure the value is more than $11.
