Default New (?) die cutting machine

Just read an email from a Sizzix owner that a new die cutting machine is available...not a Sizzix product. This is the info I found: Machine- Crossover, website/creator - cheery lane designs. Anyone know anything about this?

yes, I have one too along with a Sizzix big shot, but dies are not being produced for it (Sizzix) and it looks like many are either being retired or discontinued-maybe fazing out of fabric, I don't know, just a guess....apparently from the YouTube I saw this does not use razor sharp blades...I cannot figure out how it cuts, but it does. The inventor calls them deep dish dies!

yes, sorry should be cheerylynndesigns

thats what I thought too until I found a YouTube demoing crossover with fabric dies......but info seems scarce or I'm not in right website? Will have to go deeper...just curious

ok, I went back to website, clicked on videos....in and among these is the video showing fabric cutting dies, then another shows how they have a conversion kit so their dies can be used on GO. And the die he demoed is a very intricate butterfly, like for fusible appliqué...

Is it only for paper? That's what it looks like, scrap book stuff.

I started purchasing the Fabi Dies as soon as Hobby Lobby started carrying them, some time they were on sale for 40 % off, and when they weren't,I'd use my 40% off coupon ,and I have almost all of the collection ,ver a period of 2 years. I think they're discontinuing the Fabi Dies.I kept a list in my purse ,so I wouldn't duplicate them when I'd find them on sale.I have the electric version of the Big Shot, and love it.It cuts 8 layers of fabric @ a time. Just about the time ,I get use and like a new product, they discontinue it!

It's been awhile since hobby lobby has had Sizzix dies...I bought mine there too when they were available. It seems the company is concentrating on the paper end of dies...too bad, I think they had a good product and dies. The video I saw on this little crossover die cutter was interesting though, but the website is lacking much...at least what I saw of it.
