Default New Laptop bag I made

We recently got a new laptop. So I decided to make a bag for it and all it's toys.

It has a compartment for the Laptop, pockets for the small LED light (to see the keyboard), because the Laptop sits to my right on my desk. Another pocket for the charger. And the other large compartment is for the chill pad. Also I added another small pocket with a velcro closure to carry misc. stuff. I used flannel to line the bag to minimize scratched to the Laptop. And a Ultra Suede material for the exterior. The strap is a 2" wide webbing (to make it more comfortable to carry and long enough for the strap to go over my chest. It's easier on the back and shoulders carries this way. I added some camo ribbon as decoration and to jazz up an other wise plain looking bag.

The pattern is.......Simplicity 4321, I used the messenger bag pattern.

Thanks Nancy

I added the extra pocket and all the padding. The instructions didn't call for it to be padded like it is.

Thank you, it's maiden voyage is next weekend. We are going on an overnight trip to Portland. It will be nice to have some google maps available. I always get turned around there in Portland. I guess city life isn't for me.....lol

Thank you for listing the pattern #. I really like your bag and could definitely use one for my laptop. Your idea of using flannel for the inside is genius!!

Thanks!!
I should have added that I put the middle divider in myself. It's two pieces of fabric cut about an 1 1/2" shorter than the bag height. And sewn on three sides along with the seams.
