Default New Life for Vintage Textiles: Composition Notebook Cover

In an effort to preserve some beautiful hand embroidered pillow cases that I have, I came up with a pattern and technique to preserve the vintage textiles. I did not want to cut off the lovely hand crocheted lace. Here are photos. Simple tutorial to come. I also made some with a cut work pillow case that I dyed a mottled rose pink. I also am collecting and hand dyeing white cotton sateen napkins and table cloths to make these. I dyed 30 different pieces of a sateen table cloth with the left over colors from a project. I will get those up in a week or so, after vacation. For now, here is the pillowcase.
