I've been really down the last few days... and trying (mostly unsuccessfully) not to be grumpy with my husband. 13 years ago yesterday my mother died very young. Anyway, we had to run some errands and he surprised me by adding in a stop to JoAnns to buy me some thread. What a nice man! He remembered that a few days ago I mentioned that I was running out.

It's the little things that make all the difference sometimes.

He sounds like a keeper. Sorry for the loss of your mother. Mine died at 70 and I still think that was way too young.

Thanks guys.

Kat, as I get older, I realize how young ages that I used to think of as "old" really are. My Dad just turned 55 and can count as a senior for some things... but he's still sooo young! 70 is way too young. My mom passed at 38.

I, too, am sorry for the loss of your mother... there will always be that little moment that takes you back and makes you miss her... fortunately, we are able to live that moment and go on...

Your DH sounds very sweet...

That was nice of your DH. I'm sorry for the loss of your mother. It's hard to take sometimes. Mine died May 18th this year. Her birthday is coming up in October and I'm dreading it. I miss her.

Yes... so true that the little things make all the difference, and I applaud that you actually SEE those little things! :)
