Congratulations! I can't think of a better reason to lose a sewing room.

But...you don't have to give up the entire room until the baby starts crawling right? So you can still sew in the corner of the nursery...

Ok, you can probably tell I don't have kids.

Congratulations Elizajane. Before I had a sewing room (kids moved out) I had a L shaped sewing space in my bedroom. I got the adjustable height tables from Sam's to sew on and that way I had storage space under the tables. Where there's a will there's a way.

congratulations on the upcoming little miracle. How blessed you are. We'll look forward to hearing how it all goes and what you will be making for the baby, before you clear everything out for the nursery.

Congrats. Lots of us are going the opposite direction. My baby girl is now 38, so her room is my sewing room. Best wishes.

Congratulations on the baby! Something to think about for the future: I had gotten a small, three drawer plastic unit to keep all my rotary cutters, scissors, needles and pins in. It sits on top of a bookcase in my sewing room. It came in really handy when my grandchildren were little and they were sleeping in that room when visiting. In addition to putting things away I would take the drawer unit to my bedroom and kept all that dangerous stuff away from little hands.

What thrilling news! That is the best of all reasons to pack up a sewing room!
