I probably would've used flannel.

A & D, Neopsporin or just vaseline will help prevent the poor little ones nose from getting so sore no matter what you use to wipe it (as long as it is soft). It provides a barrier against the mucus and the friction that wiping it constantly causes.

I mistakenly used neosporin on my oldest son and found out the hard way that he was allergic to it. Please be sure that she uses something that would maybe be a little better...vaseline or A & D ointment maybe? I always used an OLD bandana style handkerchief that was just about worn out. They get soooo soft after years of use.

Hope that the baby gets better soon from the runny nose.

I used plain old chapstick on my kids and grands noses. It stays on longer than other ointments. :D:D:D

I used to use flannel pieces. I cut some about 6" square and pinked the edges. Then I ran a tight stitch around the edges. worked for me!
