My 9 yr. old grandson is visiting from Iowa and requested that I make him a costume to wear in a "Live Museum" next week. "Sure I can still sew clothes I think". He will represent William Clark, so I thought of a buckskin looking outfit with loose fitting pants and a tunic type of thingy on top. WRONG! Research proved that William Clark most often wore military type of clothing. This is the result: a real challenge, true labor of love and lots of fun.

Good for you. That is a terrific looking costume. Know your grandson will always remember it and the love that went into making it for him !
