Default Nook HD

Does anyone on the board have a Nook HD? Do you like it and is it easy to use?

I have the Nook that came out before the HD and I love it! It is a little frustrating for me to try to use it for the internet, but I do use Pandora on it to listen to music. If you get a Nook, every Friday they offer a free book to download. Sometimes I get those- a few of them have been quite good. I have so many free books downloaded at this point, I haven't paid for a book yet! (I'm sure the Nook people wouldn't want to hear that- they want to sell books.) It is quite easy to download books though.

I have the 3G black and white Nook and the color Nook and love them both. Barnes and Noble has thousands of free books on thier site to download. You can also go into the store and read any book for an hour a day on your Nook. They have free classes to learn how to do different things on it. They have tons of very low cost and free apps for it as well. It does so much, I'm sure the HD is just as wonderful.

I got the Nook Simple Touch because I wanted the e-ink so I could read outside. The back-lit screens are hard if not impossible to read outside on a bright day unless they've made some changes that I'm unaware of.

I had a Nook...the original one....it finally "died" and I was so bummed. Last week, I got a new Nook HD+...I love it! I probably would have only gotten the HD one, but one of my sons gave me some money so that helped me get the next level up (birthday and early mother's day). It was easier for me to see it with the bigger size.

I have a Nook color and I love it. I "borrow" books from our local library system on it. I also have Scrabble for Nook, which I play all the time. I do not do Facebook or my mail with it - I would rather do those from my laptop.
