What a pretty furbaby. Are they called 'sleeve' because they were kept in the oriental sleeves years ago?

Thank you all and she is indeed a sweetie ...They are called sleeves if their adult weight is 5 lbs or under..But, long ago most were all sleeves because that is where they kept them..It wasn't until later that they were bred bigger and bigger so its very rare for a sleeve to be born..Most Pekingese's weight is right around 10-12 lbs..Some smaller and a few may be larger..But usually not over 14 lbs..
