Can't decide if this is the correct spot to post or not.....
After an update of my computer I have my AVG toolbar but no spot where the url for the actual website is???? Can anyone give me a hint to what I need to do to get it back?

Do you mean the one from your browser?
if you use Internet Explorer go to the top where it says View then under Toolbars check to see if Address bar is checked.
if you use Firefox it's View > Toolbars > Navigation toolbar.
Sorry I don't know anything about AVG toolbar
