Had some pretty bad storms come through here this morning lots of rain, thunder, and lightning! woke up around 5 o'clock just from the thunder and around 6 I heard my husband get up and start to get dressed... which I thought was weird because he didn't work until later that morning. Then I heard him go outside (we live in an apartment complex) and start his truck. So then I got up, looked outside and the parking lot was completely flooded!

I had my husband move my car because the water was almost over the tires! Everything is dry now...besides the inside of my car. I definitely know what they mean by a flash flood now!

Now we get to look forward to the HOT weather we will have all weekend and week in the upper 90s with the humidity it will feel closer to 110. Ah...gotta love Minnesota!

My car is the 3rd one in!

From our apartment..on the 3rd floor... it didn't look like the water got close enough to the buildings to cause any damage.
