Default Fabulous Friday Frantics

Good morning girls: Today is going to start a series called "Fabulous Friday Frantics".
This month is Breast Cancer Awareness. Apparently there is a facebook contest going around for the month of October. Last year it was for bra color. This year it is along the line of making a man guess why you are 8 weeks and craving starburst (child's thing). Well, I am 12 weeks and craving Gummy Bears. Like that is possible at my age and physical condition. So as a starter to commend those couragous women out there who have survived or going thru such a tragic thing, here it is:

January = 1 week
February = 2 weeks
March = 3 weeks
April = 4 weeks
May = 6 weeks
June = 8 weeks
July = 10 weeks
August = 12 weeks
September = 13 weeks
October = 14 weeks
November = 16 weeks
December = 18 weeks
Days of Month:
1 - skittles
2 - Starburst
3 - Kit Kat
4 - M&Ms
5 - galazy
6 - Crunchie
7 - Dairy Milk
8 - Lollipop
9 - Peanut Butter Cups
10 - Meat Balls
11 - Twizzlers
12 - Bubble Gum
13 - Hershey's Kisses
14 - Chocolate Mints
15 - Twix
16 - Reeses's Fastbreak
17 - Fudge
18 - Cherry Jello
19 - Milky Way
20 - Pickles
21 - Creme Eggs
22 - Laffy Taffy
23 - Gummy Bears
24 - Gummy Worms
25 - Strawberry Pop Tarts
26 - Starburst
27 - Mini Eggs
28 - Kit Kat Chunkie
29 - Double Chocolate Chip Crunchy Cookies
30 - Chocolate Cake
31 - Smarties
This is in support of breast cancer awareness Month. So post what you are and we can all guess your birthday.
Look forward to next weeks wonderful Friday Frantic.

Thanks Cindy, and QuilterMomma. I am soooo happy to have lost the weight. I lost 10.8 lbs. With my doctor putting me on a diet, besides my already on one, and lowering my salt, I guess that helped more than I thought. Even though I love the batiks too like all of you, I have to admit to a little secret. I LOVE florals. I guess because of how much I love working with flowers, so I am one happy person. I will be able to make lots of plans now for so many pretty things to sew. I am doing the happy dance!

Congratulations JuneBillie. That is awesome. Enjoy your winnings. I am taking a class tomorrow that is miniature paper piecing. It is supposed to be a new easier method of PP. I plan to use the batiks I won on this project.
I am 13 weeks and craving bubblegum. (it should have been something chocolate)

So my 17 yr old son just told me that he cut out snacks this week and lost 8 lbs. A little envious here. He wrestles and is working on increasing strength and endurance. After wrestling season he plays rugby.

My hair dresser told me she keeps a package of fresh spinach in her freezer and crumbles it over different dishes during the week. I may have mentioned this before. I have a package in the freezer and am going to try it with some vegetable stew I made.

I'm in again and will send my fat quarter asap.
