It just dawned on me - whatever happened to the Carol Duvall Show - a program based around crafts.

I read some time ago that Carol was planning to retire and her daughters weren't interested in carrying on the business so no more new shows...not sure why there are no reruns.

Thank you. I tried bringing some up on the internet and not much of anything there. That's sad - so many good sewing, quilting, and craft shows have left. I guess there aren't too many people interested in having interests in these.
We seem to be too busy with "important" things and not in anything of this nature.

They stopped producing that show a few years ago. She retired. It was shortly after they did not renew Simply Quilts. I miss both shows. Both shows were on in the morning here and it was part of my morning routine to watch both.

I used to watch both of them, too - both in Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. Where did the time go? I loved Simply Quilts, too, but would get upset at Alex's "fake" laugh. I also watched Quilt for a Day. Guess I've been so involved in moving, etc. that I did forget Carol Duval's show.

it seems like the 80's and 90's were the quilting "boom" but I don't know what will happen now.

Out here they moved her reruns to another channel, one that I do not get with my basic cable channels :(
