Hayloft Fabric in Morgantown PA is closing in 6 weeks. They lease their space from the grocery store downstairs. The grocery store has sold to a discount grocery store, and the new place doesn't want fabric above it so they have to get out. EVERYTHING is 25% off. I was totally unprepared today, so I will go back tomorrow and "stock up" on fabric. I am crushed :!: :?

I can understand your dismay. I didn't like it much when our local fabric store closed either. But at least you'll be able to stock up on fabrics at a discount.

It is devastating when your favorite place closes. I feel for you.

Gee, what a shame. You would think they'd be able to find another location, because there must be empty stores from other places going out of business.

That's Amish country, so I don't know how easy it is for them to relocate.

I've been to the Hayloft, it's a really neat store. It's above the perimeter of the grocery store and you can see right down into the grocery store. They have a large selection of fabrics. This is really a shame that they're closing, I loved that place.

I hope they can relocate. It's a shame to lose a fabric store.
