That's really pretty. Did you come up with the design yourself? I really like the colors, very Southwest!

The colors are pretty close to the picture on the pattern. I like this design, but I think it will be a long time before ordering any more from where I got the pattern.

Agreed!
When first I heard about the pattern, I said that I own many of their patterns and have never had any trouble, but ... I guess I own them, but have never used them! (am I the ONLY quilter like that??? LOL)
The one + was: It only cost $7.00 for the pattern, but over four dollars for S & H.
sorry to bore you with my WHINING .... again <g> <wave>

You have done a good job, so far!
Have you decided whether you are going to add the triangles on the side? Right now, with a bit of a border, the quilt is big enough for my veterans' lap robes. (still thinking ....) <wave>

I was going to, but I don't have enough of the turquise material to do so. I need to add something more though to make it wider. Will try to get something maybe tomorrow, or may find something in my stash, I hate to put anymore money in it.

Well, you fixed my problem! <wave> I ran out of the turquoise, also ... the triangles at the side are an odd size.
I went through almost all of my template rulers and, as usual, there are no definitive angles ... 1 degree on an angle can do so much! So, based on what is going on with your quilt and my lack of fabric, I guess I will call it a day on the quilt and finish it off ... to be quilted (some day <g>) <wave>
Thanks for the encouragement ... know what I may do is ... do the very outside border for my final border.  thinking <wave>
