I say it all of the time. A friend gave me a tote a few years ago that has Oof Da printed on it!

Flylady has a printed list of things you should have with you at all times at home, just for such emergencies. Check them out, you just might need to grab and run one of these days.

And at home..lots and lots of quilts, sleeping bags, bottled water in large containers, know where medicines are, where pet meds and food and leashes/cages are, etc. Baby foods, diapers, personal needs, etc. Lots and lots of etc. And keep your cars half full of gas or more all the time.

Get ready, stay safe. We'll pray for you and others who are in harm's way.

We had a lot of wind yesterday too. We lost the canope on the Eagles nest on the swingset in the back yard but that is all. The winds were terrible. A large city south of us was without power for a while.

so glad everyone is safe! I also caught the uff da and I have to say I knew you had to be a Minnesotan.. my family is of Finnish descent and that was a very common term growing up. I was back "home" recently and I still hear it all the time, it's now become a favorite expression of my friends here in Ga..

stay safe and I hope the storm has passed!

I need to go out and check for damage, too...Tink was terrified for 2 days, didn't want to go out. I think she was afraid of becoming Toto. ;-)
