We are just having a lot of rain and only mild wind here in the Pacific Northwest. I'm familiar with the Uf-da expression (that's how I've seen it spelled). There is a small shop in the town near us called the Uf-Da shop and has Scandinavian items in there. I'm half Norwegian on my mother's side.

We're ok here, but still a little spooked because of the tornado in May. The next shcool system over, who was going to have their graduation ceremony later that day, had their high school completely destroyed. The way the communities came together helped cement the good feeling I have always had in this area.
