I have several other crafting hobbies that I love. Right this very second I am crocheting an afghan. I also like to cross stitch and scrapbook and I'd like to try decoupage.

What are your other crafting hobbies, besides quilting?

macrame, mostly fancy schmancy plant hangers. haven't had much time for it the last couple years, it must be a dying art as supplies and patterns are hard to find.

I love to embroder, (SP?), make cards and I love making soap with the melt and pour stuff. I can knit and crochet, but not great, just basics, love it though!

I love to crochet, paint, sculp, cook, travel and read....but somehow I always seem to connect it to quilting.

Long time ago I was a professional ceramicist...and I still miss playing in the mud!

I've done a lot of different hobbies over the year and spent lots of money too. Card making, beading, cross stitch, rug hooking... Once I quilted I just knew I was going to do it forever. I got rid of all of my other craft supplies and now I just buy fabric etc. I still knit a bit but that is it.

Macreme(sp?) is enjoying a surge in popularity around here; as are all crafts. I live in the middle of PA Dutch land so, everywhere u look there is someone teaching the old crafts and making them new again! I enjoy knitting, crocheting, spinning(spindle and wheel), schrenschnnette(GermanPaperCuttings), Painting, Stenciling, Stain Glass, Cross-Stitch, Embroidery(Ribbon & Thread), Woodworking, Making Baskets, photography, Jewelry Making, herb & dye gardening(does that count)for dyeing fabrics and wools, Rug hooking, Needlepunching, Needle felting & wet felting, woodburning, etc...; I'm a jack of all trades and a master of not many  If u put something in front of me and give me good instructions, I'lll probably be able to do it. I don't like reading instructions. I know this seems like a lot, but since 1992, I've only been able to mostly use my hands and brain!
Prior to 1992, I was a runner, like my Dad, who ran the Long Beach Marathon (I believe it was in 1990?);and, I was in every aerobic class I could find. I was in very good shape. So, now that I can't do that anymore, I have this energy that can't seem to rest. Then I met u guys. I have found a home, at least for now, and for a while.
Boy, don't know where that came from - those darn meds!!

I'm gonna post a pic of my dad on the pic site when I get time, it's really cool! He was 55 yr old.

I knit, crochet, mosaic, bead. I would love to learn how to weave but can't find a local class. I just love all the old world crafts.

I embroder and am making a Hexie quilt and read. The only "knitting" I do is dish cloths which all my family loves. I also love going to thrift stores. I have 4 grands to look for. Recently, I'd more of a life style change is "de-cluttering" all my stuff.

Over the years I've probably tried everything that came along. I still do some crocheting and art work but mostly things that are fabric related these days!

I'm like Ditter. I've tried most everything over the years. I still do a little cross stitch and knit dishcloths ( better than yelling at DH for the way he drives!). Used to knit sweaters, sew most of our clothes, crochet afgans, decoupage, tole paint, textile paint, needlepoint and macrame... not all at one time!
