How can an animal be so beautiful and destructive at the same time?

Eeny-Meeny Mighty Moe which of these apple's has to go : ) -My brother and SIL have apple and cherry tree's. Plus a 1/2 acre garden and the deer come by for breakfast every morning they wait ever so patiently for the apples to ripen. When they first moved there some 30 yrs ago she would get out and chase them away but now she figures they got to eat too and they can have the bottom of the tree's and she has even planted the deers favorite munchies along the fence line to keep them out of the garden. She has been trying to figure out how to convince the birds to leave her enough cherries for pie's- jams and the freezer. Her Bird Whispering skills are not as good as her Deer Whispering skills. -So far she has been a big disappointment to the family. - We hold a family meeting every cherry picking season and we always give her anther year to fine tune her skills . LOL
