At first I thought that bird was some sort of a Kingfisher. Then I saw where you are from. I have heard them laugh .... probably at the zoo if I remember right. Kingfishers sound like machine gun fire as they fly looking for fish but maybe I should start calling that a laugh too. Thanks for the great photo and information. And oh yes, I will be singing that song for the rest of the day also.

Never saw nor heard of that bird. What an interesting little guy. Birds here in Maine are beginning the migration journey and my feeders are filled with them stuffing their little beaks.
