true story.. happened to a friend of mine's sister....
every year her dh went up to the up... (upper peninsula of mi for those not from mi) to go deer hunting..
every year, when he came back empty handed, he said " if i just had a scope on my rifle..i would have gotten that buck"
so, before the next deer season, she had one mounted on his rifle as a nice surprise...
he came back that year & said exactly the same thing...
oops.. it was NOT am amicable divorce.
