Default Oven Towel

For those who asked for how I did my oven towel. I watched a YouTube video but did mine a little different. I took 12 step by step pictures of my second one. The first was so well received, they asked for another. Here what it looked like for others who missed it.

Find the center in your hot pad and kitchen towel. I folded mine in half and marked with pins.

Mark the centers, I used chalk on my hot pad and my Frixion pen for the towel.

I used a long stitch on my machine so I could gather along the line until it would match the hot pad size.

I used the multi stitch zig zag to sew it to the hot pad and tied off the thread ends.

I folded the towel and hot pad into the correct position so I could use chalk to mark where the button will go.

Well I must have skipped a few pictures but I think it is still clear. Make sure to sew SLOWLY as you attach the hot pad and the towel together since it is fairly thick with the gathers.
