Pacific Ocean
My DD and SIL came to see us for a week. It had been ten years since we'd seen one another. We took them out to walk among the giant redwoods, to see the great waters of the Pacific and to view the Roosevelt Elk (very young ones this round). Out of a few hundred pics, I found some to share of me, my daughter and her hubby. I hope you will enjoy them. Obviously we had a wonderful time. the two here are of the pacific. I could not get the others to download, so will try again in a few.

Lovely pics... so glad you had a wonderful visit.... this brought sweet memories back of when I was 9 or 10. Daddy had spoken at a conference in Portland and he and Momma made it into a two-week road trip. My favorite memory of the whole trip (Oklahoma to Oregon and back) was stopping at beaches along the coast on the way south to San Francisco (where we turned back east) and looking for sea glass. We collected a quart (or so) and Momma put it into a cut glass decanter. That decanter sat in her bathroom (through two moves over the years) and when she passed and Daddy decided to move to assisted living, he asked my sisters and I to make a list of the things we wanted. If no one else wanted a thing, it was ours. The first thing on my list was the decanter of sea glass... (I think my older sis was just old enough to be bored with everything we did, and my younger sis just didn't remember like I did..) Anyway, it's in my bathroom now...
