I was wondering if a sprained ankle turns someone into a human barometer. Its sure hurting today and it's been a couple of weeks since I sprained it.

Yep! It is because of the barometric pressure some how. I worked for a doctor who explained it to me one time but I guess I zoned him out, did that alot!!!

Have you tried the new pain patches? Works wonders and no side affects. There are several kinds and all work. I have a weak back, but still use the rideing lawnmower and clean my horse pen. The garden tiller hurts the most so I put one on As soon as I`m done.
P.S. I also wear one when I go on a long trip.

theresa it has been six weeks since I sprained mine and it is still swelling and hurting like the dickens. I am beginning to think it is going to stay that way.

I had shoulder surgery in January. I am more accurate than any meteorologist.

Yup, the weather does affect your bones. I work for a doctor and he tells me he knows when his visits are going to be high. How? The weather - go figure.

I am sorry you are in pain. Hope you feel better soon.
