Peaches

I have a peach tree and I read an article where you can freeze entire peaches on a tray and then remove them after they are frozen put them in freezer bags. Then when you are ready to use them remove the whole peach and rinse it and put it in the microwave for 10-13 seconds and it is suppose to taste like tha day you picked it from the tree without all of the other hassles of canning them etc....

Oh, LUCKY YOU, to have a peach tree...I LOVE THEM! I really dont know about peaches, but you can do this with tomatoes....I do some this way. I would sure try a few, it would be so easy!
I do want to say though, the tomatoes are more mushy after being frozen, but good for chilli, stew, ect.

The instructions said that they would be as good as the day you picked them from the tree and that you would never do them any other way again.I have my doubts.I really should try it,but I have a big pot of them on now,so that will have to be done later.

They look delicious! I can't wait for peaches to be out in New Hampshire. I tried some local peaches for the first time and was amazed how good they were. Your idea of freezing them whole sound interesting.
